Our Achievements

Since opening the store in 2006 we have not only strived to achieve the best quality of work in the industry, but we have also strived to improve industry training standards and training practices.

Since opening the store in 2006 we have strived to achieve the best quality of work in the industry, and we have also committed ourselves to improve industry training standards and training practices.

In 2009, owner Edward Lancaster was appointed to the board of the Retail Cycle Traders Australia (RCTA). The RCTA is a national association for specialist bicycle retailers with over 500 members. Edward has been the only board member representing New South Wales since 2009.

In 2010 Bike Repairs won the National Award for Contribution towards Cycling by a Bicycle Retailer. The award was presented to Edward at Old Parliament House in Canberra and it recognised our contribution towards improving training and assessment of bicycle mechanics throughout NSW.

In February 2012, Edward was appointed on the Australian Bicycle Sector Advisory Committee. This committee oversees the national education training packages in Australia for the entire bicycle industry.

We hope that over the coming years we can help the cycling industry grow by not only providing one of the highest quality service facilities in the country, but also by helping raise the standards of bicycle mechanic training and qualifications.
